Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
There are common questions that brides and grooms often ask their
photographers. I've put a list of these questions with my answers.
If you have more questions, always ask!
Q. What is your photographic style?
A. My photography style is a mixture of traditional portraiture
and photojournalism. More importantly, I work together with clients
to select the right locations for shots and capture the most important
moments.
Q. What makes you different from other photographers?
A. Taking excellent wedding pictures is about connecting with people.
I take pictures to capture moments and memories of your wedding.
As a photojournalist, I'm trying to tell a story of the wedding
that bride and groom imagined and experienced. While I have all
the latest digital equipment, my talent is for making people feel
comfortable and at ease. My goal is to make everyone look and feel
beautiful in the pictures.
Q. Do you use digital or film?
A. I use all digital equipment, though I started my photography
career using film. For those interested in the technical side of
digital photography, I use a 6 megapixel SLR Canon which is compatible
with "film camera" lens and filters. For those who do not care about
the technical side: This means you'll get high quality, crisp professional
pictures!
Q. I heard digital is not as good as film...
A. Professional and amateur photographers are quite opinionated
about this subject. I have used both digital and film, and I prefer
digital. I have a technical background, including digital design,
so I am able to use the advantages of digital to their fullest extent.
Some people asked about the quality of enlargements. Since I use
a professional grade camera, the digital images can be enlarged
to at least a 16" x 20" print and have no pixelation (blurriness).
Q. Do you provide black and white photography?
A. Yes. ALL images can be available in either color or black and
white. I can also provide the highly sought sepia-toned photographs.
Q. How quickly will I receive my prints?
A. Online images will be available approximately 3 weeks after your
event; prints can be ordered immediately from my e-commerce website.
Print albums are shipped approximately 2 months after receiving
the album order.
Q. Can I keep the negatives?
A. Since I am an all-digital photography, there are no negatives.
You will receive a CD with all your pictures, and you can order
prints from my online site at any time while your event is still
viewable. You can purchase licensing rights to the images (allowing
you to have the original images on CD to make unlimited print copies,
versus the small images normally supplied on the proof CDs). Ask
more about this option if you are interested.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. Yes. $200 to save your date!

Q. How many pictures do you take?
A. You will receive AT LEAST 30 album-quality pictures per hour
I am at the event. I usually average 200 album-quality prints per
event. Since I do not use film, there is no limit on the number
of pictures I take.
